Get creative with this 'Carve A Stamp Kit' from Essdee. Use a pencil to draw the outline of your design directly onto the stamp, or trace one of the templates from the example sheet. Copy an image by placing your paper (or tracing paper) over the template and carefully copy the design. Place the copied image onto the stamp and apply pressure to the reverse of the paper (thumb nail or pencil) to transfer the image. Next, use the number 1 cutter to start carving the outline of your design and rotate the stamp (not the tool) to carve away fine detail. Use the number 2 cutter to carve away larger areas. Then apply the ink pad directly onto your stamp and you are ready to start printing :-)
